Free WEBP to STL Converter
Drop the WEBP straight in - no PNG conversion detour - and get a printable STL, free. The AI builds a true 3D model of the image's subject, watertight and ready to slice. Logos extrude in our free 3D line art maker, and lithophanes are one click away in the relief generator - no signup for either.

From picture to printable STL
Upload your picture
Drop any image - a photo, AI art, a product shot, a logo. One clear subject works best.
AI builds a true 3D model
Not a relief: the AI reconstructs the subject's full shape, including the sides the picture never showed. Inspect it from every angle before you commit.
Download the STL and slice
Export a watertight STL (or 3MF, OBJ, GLB) ready for Cura, PrusaSlicer, or Bambu Studio. No watermark.
The format every saved web image has, and few tools accept
WEBP is what images arrive as in 2026 - right-click-saved artwork, AI-generator downloads, marketplace product shots - and it is exactly the format most STL converters still reject, sending you off to find a WEBP-to-PNG converter first. This page skips that detour: WEBP decodes in your browser like any other image and feeds all three paths directly. Everything PNG can do here, WEBP can do - including transparency for clean logo extrusions.
The AI behind this page is 3D AI Studio's main tool - it can generate textured 3D models from any photo with AI, with exports to GLB, FBX, OBJ, and USDZ beyond the STL this page focuses on.
Real conversions, untouched
Right-click-saved artwork and AI-generator downloads - the classic WEBP sources - converted raw into printable models. Click any tile to spin the result.
Where WEBP files come from - and why converters reject them
WEBP took over image delivery years ago, but most STL converters never caught up. Wherever yours came from, it works here directly.
AI art generators
Midjourney galleries, Stable Diffusion web UIs, and most AI art sites serve WEBP downloads by default - the #1 source of 'why won't this convert' posts.
Right-click saves
Chrome and Edge hand you WEBP when you save images from most modern websites, whatever the site originally uploaded.
Marketplaces & wikis
Game asset stores, Fandom wikis, and product listings compress their previews to WEBP - reference art for props and cosplay usually arrives this way.
Three ways to turn a picture into an STL
They produce very different prints - pick the one you actually mean.
| Path | What you get | Best for | Cost |
|---|---|---|---|
| True 3D model (AI) | A real, watertight model of the subject - viewable and printable from every angle | Figurines, characters, props, product mockups, 'print what's in this photo' | Free credits (100/month, no card) |
| Raised logo / line art | The dark shapes of the image extruded into a plaque (via our free 3D line art maker) | Logos, icons, keychains, stamps, stencils | Free, no signup |
| Photo relief / lithophane | The photo as surface depth - backlit lithophanes or sculpted reliefs (via our free relief generator) | Photo panels, lamps, window hangings, memorial and gift pieces | Free, no signup |

What is an STL file?
STL is the oldest and most universal 3D printing format. It describes a model as a plain list of triangles - nothing else. No colors, no materials, no units, no object names. That simplicity is exactly why every slicer, CAD tool, and print service on earth accepts it.
An STL file stores each triangle as three corner points plus a facet normal, either as compact binary (the common case) or human-readable ASCII. Because the format carries no unit information, almost every tool assumes millimeters. When a file needs to work absolutely anywhere, STL is still the safe answer.
