Behind the scenes

How this template works

The sound effect generator turns your description into a game sound, either a one-shot or a seamless loop: short for clicks and hits, standard, or long for ambiences.

  1. 1
    Step 1 · Audio Generation

    Generate the sound

The audio generator creates the sound from your description with no music or voices, ready to trigger in your engine.

    4 s · MP3

    Open Audio Generation

Tips for the best result

  • Say what makes the sound and how: material, size, speed.
  • Add the space: "in a stone cave", "outdoors in wind".
  • One event per sound: an open, a hit, a whoosh.

Do it yourself for more control

  • Open Audio Generation to set any length up to 22 seconds or make several takes at once.
  • Generate two or three takes of hits and footsteps and randomise them in-engine.
  • Use Seamless loop for ambiences like rain, campfires or engine hums.

Good to know

Sounds are up to 10 seconds and mono-style; layer and mix longer cues in your audio editor.

Use the 3D AI Studio MCP to run the "Game Sound Effects" template (https://www.3daistudio.com/templates/game-sound-effects) for me.

My idea: A heavy wooden treasure chest creaking open
Style: One-shot
Length: Standard

Follow these steps in order. The prompts and settings are the template's own, so use them word for word and only put my idea where it says {MY IDEA}.

1. Generate the sound
Call generate_sound_effect with duration_seconds 4, loop false, prompt_influence 0.5, output_format "mp3" and this prompt (use "wav" instead of "mp3" if I say it goes straight into a game engine):
"""
{MY IDEA}. A single clean one-shot game sound effect. High quality, close-miked, no music, no voices.
"""

After each generation call, keep polling get_generation with its task_id until it completes, then show me the result with show_generation before you start the next step.
Keep going
