How this template works
A cookie cutter is the outline of a shape raised into a thin wall. The template finds the outline of the dark shape in your image and builds the cutter right in your browser.

The largest dark shape becomes the outline. A 0.9 mm cutting edge follows it, and a 3 mm lip around the top gives you something to press on. Nothing is uploaded and no credits are used.

Tips for the best result
- A filled silhouette works best: a cat, a star, a logo mark.
- Simple outlines with no very thin parts cut cleanest.
- If your drawing is only an outline, close every gap so the inside is a solid shape.
Do it yourself for more control
- For perfectly sharp outlines from a vector file, use SVG to 3D.
- Print lip-down in PLA or PETG at 100% infill for a stiff edge.
- Want inner details stamped into the dough? Make a matching stamp with the 3D Line Art Maker and its stamp mirror.
Good to know
Only the outer outline is used; inner lines are ignored, and very thin parts under about 3 mm wide won't cut well.
